Shri. Hardeep Singh Ahluwalia, started his banking career as Agricultural Field Officer on 30.03.1992 at Allahabad Bank (now Indian Bank). He is a graduate in Agriculture and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. He has Certification in Credit Management from NIBM Pune & Diploma in Computer Applications in Financial Management.

He has rich banking experience for more than three decades in various functional areas of banking system (Rural/Semi-Urban/Urban/Metro geographies) in India and abroad (HK). He has worked particularly in strategic positions as Lead District Manager, Head of the International Branch, Moradabad Zonal Head, Chandigarh & Field General Manager, Kolkata and various other verticals at administrative offices. He has also contributed immensely to the Sports Field as the President of Indian Bank Cultural & Sports Committee. His proven ability to build productive teams and deliver exceptional results was reflected in all his assignments. As an avid learner he has attended various training programmes and completed Leadership Development Programme of IIM, Bangalore, curated by Banks Board Bureau in consultation with IBA. Before his elevation as Executive Director of Canara Bank, he was General Manager of the Recovery Department at Corporate office of Indian Bank.

Shri Bhavendra Kumar

Shri Bhavendra Kumar joined Canara Bank on 10/03/1997 as Probationary Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). During the course of banking career, he has worked in different capacities in different states such as Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka & New Delhi. He has also worked in Canara Bank, Shanghai Branch for a period of 3 years.

On becoming General Manager in 2020, he was posted to the Head Office of the bank at Bengaluru and was heading the Gold Loan Wing of the Bank. He was promoted to Chief General Manager in 2021 and was heading Delhi Circle Office with a business of more than 2.5 lakh crore rupees until he was elevated to the post of Executive Director.

Shri Bhavendra Kumar reported to Head Office on 09.10.2023 and assumed charge of Executive Director of Canara Bank as per the Dept. of Financial Service notification eF. no. 4/1(vii)/2023 – BO.I dated 09.10.2023.

Shri S K Majumdar

Shri S K Majumdar, aged 56 years, is an accomplished banking professional with over 25 years of extensive experience in the industry. He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant by qualification.

He has been associated with the bank since January 2000 and has served in various capacities across branches and administrative offices which includes project finance. Over the years, he has held key leadership roles, heading Large Corporate Branches, New York branch and Large Corporate Credit Wing. He has also served the bank as Circle Head, Delhi before taking charge as Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) of the bank till his elevation as Executive Director.

Shri Sunil Kumar Chugh

Shri Sunil Kumar Chugh, a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers by qualification, has over three decades of banking experience. Beginning his career in 1993, he has risen through the ranks serving in five public sector banks - Punjab National Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Union Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank and Dena Bank, gaining deep expertise through diverse functional roles and leadership responsibilities.

Over the years, he led key business and operations verticals, including Corporate Credit, Retail, Agri & MSME (RAM) Credit, Financial Inclusion, Stressed Assets Management and Credit Monitoring. He has headed Large Corporate Branches in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. His roles have spanned Corporate Office, Administrative Offices and Branches, combining field-level exposure with strategic insights.

He has served as director on the board of M/s PNB Cards & Services Pvt. Ltd and M/s Swift India Domestic Services Pvt. Ltd.

Prior to assuming charge as Executive Director of Canara Bank, he headed Hyderabad Zone of Punjab National Bank.
